Do I have to send you my old engine first?
May. 23, 2010
On rare occasions or for rare engines, you might need to ship the engine first. We sell most engines on an exchange. Call us for more information about shipping your old engine and core exchange pricing.
Do you accept credit cards?
May. 23, 2010
Yes. We gladly accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. We also accept personal and company checks. (Up to a 10 day waiting period for checks to clear our bank.)
Do you bore the blocks?
May. 23, 2010
No. Boring a Subaru block will reduce the ability to dissipate heat from friction, thus decreasing reliability.
Since we sell most of our engines on an exchange basis, we always have many engine cases to choose from. Any that do not meet factory specifications get recycled. The same goes for cams, rods, etc. We measure all parts with a micrometer to make sure they meet original factory specs. We do have our cranks turned. If they will not turn ".10/.10" we recycle them.

May. 23, 2010
If you are swapping the engine yourself, you will need to have the intake manifold, hoses, front pulley, flywheel, motor mounts, alternator, power steering, and accessory items. Older engines would include carburetor, distributor.
You do not have to swap the water pump, oil pump, timing components, oil pan or valve covers. These are all included with your engine.
